I reach for the light
I reach and I reach for comfort
The light leaves me drunk
I see in color and not just Black and White
With my heart made of stone
I will poison my mind
With the grip of anxiety
I reach for the sun
Clamoring to feel her warmth
I get too close
I get too close
It burns my eyes
It scars my hands
my arms, signed to black
love is frail
love is fragile
I handle with care
But I held it to close
Relive the pain of loss
the duality of love
There"s beauty in destruction
I look to the sky
The sun warms my face
my body
I feel it running through my veins
I'm desperate for warmth
Her love like a blanket
Saving me from hypothermia
I saw it burn
I saw you burn
I watched you change
I watched the flames
As the fire spread
Its destructive flame
We dance slow
At ease with the entropy
At ease with the pain
I trace back the dark
Back to a single faint point in time

Unbelievable, but this even managed to scare me. This is (d)evil. Watch out, it may gain power over you.
Goes to my all time list after 3 listens. Incredible album. YomaBarr

Jordan Vauvert

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson
